Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Sheffield
Mayflower Engineering is a market leading, well established Sheffield based company. They specialise in the design and manufacture of a diverse range of medium to heavy Mechanical Engineering projects and products, working with a variety of market sectors to deliver exceptional engineering solutions.
The company is now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager with a demonstrable track record in the development of new business sales in the very wide and diverse field of Oil and Gas, Power Generation and Nuclear sectors.
Ideal Experience:
*Ability to drive sales and build strong client relationships
*Generating leads and identifying target contacts
*Strong field prospecting and sales experience
*Track record of selling into the relevant sectors
*Experience of selling bespoke/high value contracts
*Experience of presenting detailed, high quality and timely proposals
Personal Qualities Required:
*Ambitious, credible and technically minded
*Excellent organisational and presentation skills
*Good interpersonal skills
*Comfortable dealing with customers and prospects at all levels
*A team player willing to assist fellow colleagues
*A good verbal communicator
This is a permanent position which offers an excellent remuneration package including the following benefits:
