University partnership continues to flourish following new EMI appointment

Mayflower Engineering has entered into a new venture with Sheffield Hallam University. The Enhanced Mentored Internship (EMI) is the second programme that the two organisations have launched together and is an integral part of Mayflower’s ongoing commitment to skills development.

The new EMI has seen PHD graduate Vishu Goel appointed as Materials Engineer at Mayflower Engineering. He will work within Mayflower’s Quality Assurance Department whilst also receiving support and guidance from the university.

Mayflower’s Managing Director Kevan Bingham explained:

“Vishu’s appointment is a great way to support the continual development of our quality assurance department. Investment in skills development is vital for the engineering sector and schemes like this create a great platform for learning and growth”.
