Job Title: CNC Machinist and General Machinist

Mayflower Engineering is a market leading, well established Sheffield based company.
They specialise in the design and manufacture of a diverse range of medium to heavy Mechanical Engineering projects and products, working with a variety of market sectors to deliver exceptional engineering solutions.

The company is now looking to recruit a CNC Horizontal Borer, CNC Mazak Operator and a General Machinist on a permanent basis.

Successful candidates must be time served or able to demonstrate a competency through experience within the workplace. The individual will be required to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and produce work within the required time-frames whilst consistently achieving our quality standard (BSEN ISO 9001).

Ideal Experience:
* Experience in machining both fabricating and cast components
* Overhead crane operating experience
* A high standard of safety awareness and housekeeping
* For the Horizontal Borer position experience in programming and editing Heidenhain control systems
* For the CNC Mazak Operator the ability to programme and edit using the Mazatrol system
* For the General Machinist the ability to use lathes, vertical borers and Radial Armed Drills
