Trainee CNC Plasma Operator *Full training to be provided*

Mayflower Engineering is a market leading, well established Sheffield based company.

They specialise in the design and manufacture of a diverse range of medium to heavy Mechanical Engineering projects and products, working with a variety of market sectors to deliver exceptional engineering solutions.

The company is now looking to recruit a Trainee CNC Plasma Operator. Some engineering is essential, however full training is to be provided.

The company’s blue chip client base is wide ranging as is the extent of our manufacturing capability and in recognition of this, we would provide full support and back-up, during the initial period of introduction, to the company’s Operational departments.

Ideal Experience:

* Previous experience operating in a similar metal processing environment

* Overhead crane operating experience

* Experience operating power tools

* Good attention to detail / quality

* Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines

* Ability to work on their own or part of a team

Personal Qualities Required:

* A team player willing to assist fellow colleagues.

* A good verbal communicator.
