Job Title: Welder
The company is now looking to recruit a Welder on a permanent basis to work on a diverse range of medium to heavy Mechanical Engineering projects.
Fully skilled personnel are required to work on close tolerance work with a good all round engineering experience. Applicants must be time-served or able to demonstrate competency through experience within the workplace. Experience in medium heavy MIG weldong, FCAW welding and qualified to ASME IX or BSEN 287 would be preferred.
Ideal Experience
* Experience within a fabrication environment.
* Experience in both light and heavy MIG welding
* Qualified to ASME IX or BS equivalent
* Coded to a recognised standard
* MMA/FCAW
* Ultrasonic work
* Overhead crane operating experience.
* A high standard of safety awareness and housekeeping.
Personal Qualities Required:
* A team player willing to assist fellow colleagues.
* A good verbal communicator.
This is a permanent position which offers an excellent remuneration package including the following benefits:

- Basic rate of pay £16-18.00ph
- 37 hour working week - Overtime paid at time and a half of basic rate after 37 hours
- 33 days holiday per year payable at time and a quarter of basic rate (25 days + 8 statutory)
