Manufacturing Project Manager

We are currently looking to recruit a dynamic and performance driven Project Manager with a biased for manufacturing.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director the successful candidate will be required to have experience co-ordinating all manufacturing activities and resources, ensuring all agreed delivery schedules, budget and performance criteria are met.

Experience in fabrication would be advantageous, whilst machining, plasma and laser cutting experience would be beneficial in delivering the companies products and services.

The company’s blue chip client base is wide ranging as is the extent of our manufacturing capability and in recognition of this, we would provide full support and back-up during the initial period of introduction to the company’s Operational departments.

The successful candidate will possess a clear understanding and experience in the following:

- An ability to lead and manage manufacturing projects from initiation through to completion

- Management of agreed manufacturing risks and budget provisions through all phases of the project

- Awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements

Skills & attributes required for the role:

- Highly effective interpersonal skills; excellent communicator, strong written, verbal and presentation skills

- Project management experience

- Well organised and methodical

- Ability to work to deadlines and budgets

- A good understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
