CNC Machinist

Due to on-going investment we have an immediate opportunity for a skilled and experienced CNC Operator, capable of operating both milling and turning machining centres, to join the team to work on a diverse range of medium to heavy Mechanical Engineering projects.

Successful candidates must be time served or able to demonstrate a competency through experience within the workplace with an ability to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and produce work within the required timeframes whilst consistently achieving our quality standard (BSEN ISO 9001)

 

Essential Experience:

• Experience within a machine shop environment.
• Machining of both fabricated and cast components to fine tolerances in either single or batch quantities and in a variety of steel grades.
• The ability to programme and edit using Mazatrol system.
• The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
• Overhead crane operating experience.
• It would be advantageous for the successful candidates to be able to demonstrate experience in programming and operation on CNC machining centres using Mazatrol control systems.
